This collection consists of various documents collected by Pamela Andrews and related to the feminist movement. It contains pamphlets, a brochure, programs of a benefit concert, of a workshop theatre productions and other materials from various organizations including the Assaulted Women’s Hotline, the DisAbled Women’s Network (DAWN) and the Midwifery Task Group. It also includes photocopied press clippings related to the Direct Action Group’s statements of resistance regarding the Litton bombing and 14 buttons from organizations pertaining mostly to women’s rights and issues such as health, birth control and abortion.

Cette collection se compose de divers documents collectés par Pamela Andrews et liés au mouvement féministe. Elle contient des brochures, le programme d'un concert de bienfaisance et d'un atelier de production théâtrale et d'autres documents provenant de diverses organisations, dont Assaulted Women's Hotline, DisAbled Women's Network (DAWN) et Midwifery Task Group. The Jozef A. Mikuš fonds includes materials documenting both his personal life and the documents collected by Dr. Mikuš throughout his career as a diplomat, jurist, political activist, immigrant, teacher, and participant in various nationalist and political organizations. This collection reflects Dr. Mikuš’ perspectives on a wide range of topics, offering insight into his involvement in the political history of his home country, Slovakia, the experiences of the Slovak people, and his engagement in the social and political life of the United States after World War II. The materials encompass a variety of subjects, including religion, economics, freedom of speech, education, political parties, arts and culture, notable politicians, nationalist writers, nuclear arms, and aid programs.

There are also photos of her family friends, as well as items from her time as a student at the University of British Columbia, including her undergraduate degree diplomas, her articles written as part of the student newspaper, the Ubyssey, and several of her student papers. There is also information, records, and correspondence from her daughter, Caroline Bieler Brettell, relating to the book she wrote about her mother, "Writing Against the Wind: A Mother's Life History.

Imrich Stolárik fonds

The Imrich Stolárik fonds is a collection of primary documents created and/or obtained by Imrich Stolárik over a lifetime of activities as engaged Slovak nationalist, a prolific writer and editor, an active member, senior officer and honorary life President of the Canadian Slovak League (CSL), a respected lobbyist on the Canadian political scene, and a pillar of Slovak life across Canada.

A major portion of the Imrich Stolárik fonds consists of documents personally created and/or collected by Mr. Stolárik, from the time of his arrival in Canada (1951) to the time of his death (2000). Many documents were produced created from the 1960s to 1990s. A proportionately smaller number of items date back to the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. Mr. Stolárik has also gathered personal collections of material (correspondence, photographs, etc.) from several important figures within the Slovak-Canadian community: Andrej Kučera, Gabriel Kurdel, Juraj (George) Rondos, Peter Šuffák, Jozef Tapák, Jan Lukác, Karol Murgaš and Jozef Ferančik.

The fonds contains both administrative records from organizations in which Mr. Stolárik was involved and personal papers in multiple formats including textual records, photographs, negatives and objects.

Catherine Ahearn fonds

This fonds consists of records produced and collected by Catherine Ahearn, the first poet Laureate of the City of Ottawa (1982-1984). A sous-fonds contains originals and copies of documents belonging to Jacques Baron (1905-1986), either purchased, sent or collected by Catherine Ahearn (b.1949). Among her records are drafts of some unpublished and published texts, diaries, correspondence, etc.

It contains constitutions, by-laws, pledges of loyalties, reports, receipts, chronologies, a proclamation, renewals of insurance certificates, forms, collection sheets for funds, insurance and fire policies, telegrams, memoranda, newspaper clippings, articles, agreements, a mandate, meetings' minutes, proceedings, Senate of Canada Bill no. 15: an Act to Incorporate Canadian Slovak League, a response guide, petitions, black and white photographs, ribbons, a colour photographs, twenty-five stamps, resolutions, pleas, a CSL Great Bazar ticket, a greeting card, a commemorative postcard, book excerpts, notes, flyers, a booklet, account of events, a plane ticket, a news release, accounts books, scrapbooks, a diploma, pamphlets, letters, texts, obituaries and lists.
