Video documents a vigil for Patricia Allen, a lawyer murdered by her husband on Nov 13, 1991 in Ottawa. Speeches given at the vigil discuss violence against women, victims of male violence, and recent murdered women in Ottawa. Speakers include Diane Holmes, City of Ottawa Council member, Johanne [Departé?] from Maison Unie-Vers-Femme women's shelter in Gatineau, and a member of parliament. Video also documents a vigil for murdered women in Ottawa at Enclave: Women's Monument Against Violence, Minto Park, on Sep 21, 1991. Video also documents a demonstration on September 21, 1991 for Take Back the Night -La rue, la nuit, les femmes sans peur demonstration starting at the Museum of Nature, Ottawa. Ashley Turner appears standing with crutches behind a sign for the Sexual Assault Support Center of Ottawa (SASCO).
