Fonds consists of records documenting the work of Ashley Turner as an activist, front line worker, author and President of JEWELS, a sanctuary organization. Topics include domestic violence, sexual assault, sanctuaries for women and children escaping abuse, the criminal justice system, incest and child abuse among other topics. There are also records related to training for front line workers helping victims. Many of these records belonged to Lynn Hamilton.
