This file contains correspondence, notes and programme information for Royal Society Academy II. Susan Mann was the vice-president, 1991-1993. In a note in the file from 30 May 2017, Susan Mann notes: "Normally the VP of Academy II of Royal Society goes on to be President of Academy for a 3 year term, after serving as VP for 3 years and also goes on to be Programme Chair for entire RSC for one year (after serving as prog[ramme] chair for Academy II) and in rotation with similar officials of 2 other academies. Well, York presidency interfered with all that + I did just 2 years as VP, including prog[ramme] chair for Academy II, then resigned. No presidency of Academy II + no prog[ramme] c[ommi]ttee chair for entire soc[iety]..."
