Le fonds comprend des archives produites ou collectées par l’organisation entre la fin des années 1970 et les années 2000. Il contient des documents organisationnels tels que des documents constitutifs, les procès-verbaux des réunions du conseil d’administration, les documents reliés aux élections du conseil d’administration, les rapports annuels et les plans stratégiques, les rapports financiers, des documents reliés au recrutement et à l’adhésion de ses membres. Le fonds contient également de la correspondance, de la documentation reliées aux différents comités, à la conférence annuelle, mais également à l’organisation d’évènements spéciaux (Conférence mondiale sur les femmes de Beijing en 1995, rencontre internationale sur les femmes et la santé de Toronto en 2002). Le fonds documente également l’intérêt et le soutien de l’organisation pour la recherche sur les conditions des femmes au Canada et sur la scène internationale. Les articles (CRIAW papers) et la revue (Feminist Perspectives) publiées par l’organisation sont contenus dans le fonds. Le fonds comprend également d’importantes ressources documentaires sur les réflexions émergeantes dans les années 80 et 90 sur le développement des technologies reproductives et génétiques et leurs effets sur les femmes.
Le fonds est constitué en grande partie de documents textuels, mais il inclue également des photographies de différents évènements organisés à l’interne, et d’évènements auxquels l’organisation a participé.

The fonds includes records produced or collected by the organization between the late 1970s and the 2000s. It contains organizational documents such as founding documents, minutes of board meetings, documents related to board elections, annual reports and strategic plans, financial reports, documents related to recruitment and membership. The fonds contains correspondence and documentation related to the various committees, the annual conference, and the organization of special events (1995 Beijing World Conference on Women, 2002 Toronto International Meeting on Women and Health). The fonds documents the organization's interest in and support for research on women's conditions in Canada and internationally. Articles (CRIAW papers) and the publication (Feminist Perspectives) released by the organization are contained in the fonds. The fonds includes important documentary resources on the emerging debates in the 1980s and 1990s on the development of reproductive and genetic technologies and their effects on women.
The collection consists largely of textual material, but includes photographs of various internal events, and of events in which the organization has participated.

This collection contains oral history interviews with women in Canada who have made a significant impact on the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In the interviews, these experts not only provided divergent perspectives on the field, but also on feminism, racial justice, and STEM’s role in achieving and/ or preventing social equity. Taken together, these interviews have tremendous historical value as an archive of women’s experience in STEM, from the final decades of the 20th century until our present moment, and they help us understand what it was like to learn and to work in male-dominated environments which were potentially encouraging, or potentially hostile, to women.

Ce collection contient des entretiens d'histoire orale avec des femmes au Canada qui ont eu un impact significatif dans les domaines des sciences, de la technologie, de l'ingénierie et des mathématiques. Dans les entretiens, ces experts ont non seulement fourni des perspectives divergentes sur le domaine, mais aussi sur le féminisme, la justice raciale et le rôle des STIM dans la réalisation et/ou la prévention de l'équité sociale. Pris dans leur ensemble, ces entretiens ont une valeur historique considérable en tant qu'archives de l'expérience des femmes dans les STIM, depuis les dernières décennies du 20e siècle jusqu'à aujourd'hui, et ils nous aident à comprendre ce que c'était que d'apprendre et de travailler dans des environnements dominés par les hommes qui étaient potentiellement encourageants, ou potentiellement hostiles, pour les femmes.

The fonds consists mostly of materials created by the Canadian Advisory Council on the Status of Women as well as minutes of meetings from women's health organizations.

The fonds consists of records created and collected by Rosemary Billings in her capacity as an executive member of the Ad Hoc Committee of the Canadian Women on the Constitution and the National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC) and relate to the creation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the guarantee for women's rights under Section 28. The records illustrate the work that Billings and her colleagues did to lobby the government to ensure that section 28 was not removed.

Le fonds comprend des documents créés et recueillis par Rosemary Billings en sa qualité de membre exécutif du Comité ad hoc des femmes canadiennes sur la Constitution et du Comité national d'action sur le statut de la femme (CNA). Ces documents portent sur la création de la Charte canadienne des droits et libertés et sur la garantie des droits des femmes en vertu de l'article 28. Les documents illustrent le travail de Billings et de ses collègues pour faire pression sur le gouvernement afin que l'article 28 ne soit pas supprimé.

The Judy Rebick fonds reflects mostly on Rebick's work as president of the National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC) as well as her research into issues impacting the status of women. The first series, NAC presidency, contains the organization's lobbying records as well as records pertaining to the organization's everyday administrative activities. The second series, Resource material, consists mostly of news clippings, briefs, communiques, correspondence and papers pertaining to subjects that impacted women such as employment equity, the Meech Lake Accord, and federal cuts to women's programs. These records were collected personally by Rebick.

Le fonds reflète principalement le travail de Judy Rebick en tant que présidente du National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC). Il témoigne de ses recherches sur les questions ayant un impact sur le statut des femmes. La première série, Présidence du CNA, contient les dossiers de lobbying de l'organisation ainsi que les dossiers relatifs aux activités administratives quotidiennes de l'organisation. La deuxième série, Ressources documentaires, se compose principalement de coupures de presse, de mémoires, de communiqués, de correspondance et de documents portant sur des sujets touchant les femmes tels que l'équité en matière d'emploi, l'Accord du lac Meech et les coupures fédérales dans les programmes destinés aux femmes. Ces documents ont été recueillis personnellement par Rebick.

This fonds is composed mainly of textual records; the administrative records of OACWI, meeting minutes and reports. It also contains policy documents and research material relating to women's issues.

The Pat Petrala fonds contain records related to her involvement with numerous local and national women's groups. In addition to co-founding the Ottawa Women's Network, Petrala served on the board or otherwise collaborated with Ottawa Women's Place, the Ottawa Women's Credit Union, the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies, the Women's Network for Health and the Environment, and many other organizations and groups which are represented in the fonds. Patrala also helped to design and coordinate construction of the Women's Monument in Minto Park, and helped feminists in Vancouver to organize support for a monument commemorating victims of the 1989 Ecole Polytechnique Massacre. The fonds also contain records related to women's labour, addiction, women's shelters, women's health, domestic violence, immigrant and visible minority women, Indigenous women's activism, and more.

En plus d'avoir cofondé le Réseau des femmes d'Ottawa, Pat Petrala a siégé au conseil d'administration ou collaboré d'une autre manière avec Ottawa Women's Place, l'Ottawa Women's Credit Union, l'Association canadienne des sociétés Elizabeth Fry, le Réseau des femmes pour la santé et l'environnement, et de nombreux autres organismes et groupes représentés dans le fonds. Petrala a également participé à la conception et à la coordination de la construction du Monument aux femmes dans le parc Minto, et a aidé les féministes de Vancouver à organiser le soutien à un monument commémorant les victimes du massacre de l'École polytechnique en 1989. Le fonds contient également des documents relatifs au travail des femmes, à la toxicomanie, aux refuges pour femmes, à la santé des femmes, à la violence domestique, aux femmes immigrantes et aux minorités visibles, à l'activisme des femmes autochtones, etc.

This fonds consists of the administrative records of the conception of the Service Office Retail Workers Union of Canada (SORWUC) Local 7 in Ottawa from its beginnings in 1982 as part of reason for change particularly addressing inequality faced by women in the workplace in various aspects. It features correspondence, advertisements to join the union, pieces of bargaining and negotiation, member contact information. Also included are resources such as newspaper clippings, pamphlets, booklets, buttons, and articles on various subjects as used and promoted by members of SORWUC.
