These records are textual documents which cover the activities of the organization from its foundation in 1970 to 1991. These records offer significant information about the grassroots feminist movement in Canada, particularly in Ottawa, in the 1980s. They also offer insight into the methods of organization, aims, activities and problems shared by many women's centres across the country.
