It was exposed at the Toronto Photographers Workshop in 1986, at the Photographers Union, Steelworkers’ Hall, in Hamilton in ... »Ontario, at the Eye Photography Gallery in San Francisco, at the Dazibao Photography Gallery in Montreal in 1985. In this project, Judith Lemer Crawley talked with the women of the photographs in response to photographs in which they appeared. She looked "more closely at these issues: extracts from interviews with the subjects of the photographs were printed as part of one image lining text and visual". She raised funds to produce the book version of the project which was accomplished collaboratively.
