Anne Vespry is a lawyer based in Ottawa. She was involved with the Woman's Common (Toronto) from the time it opened in 1988 until it's closing in 1994, as both a volunteer and employee, including as a member of the Entertainment Committee, helping to set up events held at the Common.
The Women's Club was a cooperative club/restaurant/event space owned and operated by women located on Parliament Street in Toronto from 1988 to 1994. At it's height it has over 1600 paid members. The club provided a safe, harassment-free environment for lesbians.

Anne Vespry est une avocate basée à Ottawa. Elle a été impliquée dans le Woman's Common (Toronto) depuis son ouverture en 1988 jusqu'à sa fermeture en 1994, à la fois comme bénévole et comme employée, notamment en tant que membre du comité de divertissement, aidant à mettre en place les événements organisés au Common.
Le Women's Club était un club/restaurant/espace événementiel coopératif détenu et géré par des femmes, situé sur Parliament Street à Toronto, de 1988 à 1994. À son apogée, il comptait plus de 1 600 membres payants. Le club offrait aux lesbiennes un environnement sûr et exempt de harcèlement.
