"Containing fifteen descriptive numbers of striking originality specially written for motion pictures and dramatic purposes composed and arranged by M. L. Lake and Lester Brockton. All parts are carefully cued and specially arranged so as to be playable for violin and piano trio, quartet, or any other combination of instruments with violin and piano". This item contains 1- to 2-page sheet music for the fifteen descriptive numbers for orchestra parts, each part with an illustrated folder with advertisements: 1st violin, piano (conductor) [2 copies except numbers 32, 35], cello, bass, 1st clarinet in B flat [none for number 38], drums [none for 31, 33]. Publisher numbers vary: 21014-6 for number 31; 21015-7 3/4 for number 32, 21016-4 1/3 for number 33, 21017-6 3/4 for number 34, 21018-8 1/2 for number 35, 21019-5 3/4 for number 36, 21020-8 1/2 for number 37, 21021-6 3/4 for number 38, 21022-7 1/4 for number 39, 21023-8 1/2 for number 40, 21024-9 for number 41, 21025-8 1/4 for number 42, 21026-6 3/4 for number 43, 21027-5 3/4 for number 44, 21028-4 3/4 for number 45. ***sheet music for parts [each with own folder, sometimes with different advertisements, and loose leaf pieces]: 1st violin, Piano (Conductor) [2 copies, labelled BA and BB respectively, BA includes an extra folder, BB does not have a folder and only has select pieces], Cello, Bass, Clarinet 1 in B flat, Drums Handwritten inscriptions were added to number 31: "she picks up doll" in pencil on 1st violin part; "(when Lucile walks upstairs)" and "53" in blue pencil on second piano copy / added to number 33: "T.
