* "Containing fifteen descriptive numbers of striking originality specially written for motion pictures and dramatic purposes composed and arranged by M. L. Lake and Lester Brockton. All parts are carefully cued and specially arranged so as to be playable for violin and piano trio, quartet, or any other combination of instruments with violin and piano". This item contains 1- to 2-page sheet music for the fifteen descriptive numbers for orchestra parts, the following including their own illustrated folder with advertisements: 1st violin [2 copies of number 8], piano (conductor) [2 copies one without a folder and no sheets for numbers 8, 12], 1st clarinet in B flat [two for number 15, not published for 14], cello [2 copies for number 15], bass [2 copies for number 15], drums [no sheet for numbers 4, 15, not published for 14], and the following parts for number 15 only and no folder: organ, flute, 1st coronet in B flat, trombone. Publisher number 18185-113. Handwritten inscriptions were added to number 1: "ladder is released" in pencil on the 1st violin part / "Lord help us, the [band_ _]" and "9" in blue pencil and "the triumph" and "5" in pencil on the second piano copy; added to number 2: "[esther] appear from hatch" in pencil on the 1st violin part / "(Man falls over bridge)", "TRAIN WHISTLE" and "29" in pencil; "45", "45 as 5", "to Three years later" and "(Refrain)" in erased blue pencil on second piano copy / added to number 3: "scene after one chorus of Tipperary" in pencil over erased blue pencil on second piano copy / added to number 4: "elt. rescued from ice" in pencil over erased inscriptions on 1st violin part; "(woman goes across to Drake)" and "26" in blue pencil on second piano copy / added to number 5: "fakes sleep" on 1st violin part; "(see hi-jackers in garden)", "8" over erased blue pencil, "9 as 7 Todd a boy after crooks get in boat)
