History
Founded in 1972 as the Ottawa-Hull Learner Centre, in the mid-1980s changed its name to World Inter-Action Mondiale (WIAM), and in 2011 changed its name again to One World Arts. WIAM was an Ottawa-based global education organization that believed that the solutions to social and economic global inequalities begin with awareness among Canadians of their social, environmental and cultural links with the rest of the world.

Fondée en 1972 sous le nom de Ottawa-Hull Learner Centre, l'organisation a changé de nom au milieu des années 1980 pour devenir World Inter-Action Mondiale (WIAM) et, en 2011, elle a de nouveau changé de nom pour devenir One World Arts. WIAM était une organisation d'éducation mondiale basée à Ottawa qui croyait que les solutions aux inégalités sociales et économiques mondiales commençaient par la prise de conscience des Canadiens de leurs liens sociaux, environnementaux et culturels avec le reste du monde.
