    Scope and content

    This series contains records created and accumulated by Susan Mann during her employment at various Canadian universities and work as an educator and as an administrator. Mann was at the Université de Montréal, 1966-1968, the University of Calgary 1970-1971, the University of Ottawa, 1972-1992, and was the first woman to be appointed as President of York University, 1992-1997, where she also taught history. Visiting professorships brought her back to Montreal and Ottawa: McGill’s centre for research and teaching on women, 1997-2002, and the Institute of Women's Studies at the University of Ottawa, 2000.

    Cette série contient des documents créés et accumulés par Susan Mann au cours de son emploi dans diverses universités canadiennes et de son travail en tant qu'éducatrice et administratrice. Mann a travaillé à l'Université de Montréal, de 1966 à 1968, à l'Université de Calgary, de 1970 à 1971, à l'Université d'Ottawa, de 1972 à 1992, et a été la première femme à être nommée présidente de l'Université York, de 1992 à 1997, où elle a également enseigné l'histoire.
