This project led by Mary Wells and Anne Millar, aimed to recognize and document the experiences and accomplishments of leading women in mining, metallurgy, and materials in Canada and throughout the world. Furthermore, it was designed to disseminate their inspiring stories through a one-day Women of Impact symposium as part of the 2015 Conference of Metallurgists (COM) and through a peer-reviewed publication, which was provided to key networks of women in science and engineering across Canada. The interviews took place during 2014-2015.

Ce projet, dirigé par Mary Wells et Anne Millar, visait à reconnaître et à documenter les expériences et les réalisations de femmes leaders dans les domaines de l'exploitation minière, de la métallurgie et des matériaux au Canada et dans le monde entier. En outre, il a été conçu pour diffuser leurs histoires inspirantes par le biais d'un symposium d'une journée sur les femmes d'influence dans le cadre de la Conférence des métallurgistes (COM) de 2015 et d'une publication évaluée par les pairs, qui a été fournie aux principaux réseaux de femmes en sciences et en ingénierie à travers le Canada.
