In 2006, a woman [Sier[s?] Chin] sent by mail photographs, documents, video cassettes and audio cassettes to Judy Rebick. She found them in her basement. Judy Rebick decided to send them to the Archives and Special Collections to be included in the Women's Archives. The woman mentioned in a letter attached to the collection that the records are in chronological order and are part of women's herstory in Canada. The name on the handwritten letter is Sier [s?] Chin.
Scope and content
This collection consists mostly of photographs used for publishing. The publication is not noted but it was likely National Action Committee on the Status of Women publications "Feminist Action" and "NAC Status of Women News. "The main subjects are young girls and children, working women, women and unions, a health care.
