A week of public activities to unite and deepen the alliance between Vancouver feminist organizations against male violence against women" and "Images are crayon and paper details of 3' by 4' works by Janet Lakeman created for Vancouver Rape Relief and Women's Shelter in the 1980's to 'reflect back to residents the conversations between women in the transition house'. Originals hang in the transition house. Audio is excerpted from a live recording at Bean Around the World Cafe, Vancouver on April 21, 2009."
