The CASAC website states the inquiry focused on the justice system, low conviction rates of violence against women and its impacts on women's inequality. The inquiry gathers one hundred criminally assaulted women stories of their experience with the Justice system in Canada, emergency response, police investigation, crown attorney decisions, court proceedings, and sentencing.
