This is an audiovisual recording of a presentation by Malcolm Powel at the "Family Violence Conference on Issues and Education" held September 27th and 28, 1990. This conference brought together educators and advocates at Quetico Park, Atikokan, Ontario. It was hosted by NOWDC and the Atikokan School Board, and was facilitated by NOWDC. It brought together shelter workers and school personnel from that district. Malcolm's presentation, entitled "Family Violence: A Community Education Issue," focused on family violence and its relation to schools.
