"Cy-Thea Sand is a feminist writer and critic. She obtained her BA in English Literature at Concordia University at Montreal, and her MA at the University of Otago at Dunedin in New Zealand. She taught and was involved at the McGill Centre for Research and Teaching on Women (former MCRTW). Then she joined the Women’s and Gender Studies Department at the University of Winnipeg. In the 1980s, she was involved in the development and promotion of Canadian Women’s small press publications. She is co-founding Editor and Publisher of “The Radical Reviewer. She was member of the Editorial Collective “Kinesis”.

Cy-Thea Sand est une écrivaine et critique féministe. Elle a obtenu un baccalauréat en littérature anglaise à l'Université Concordia de Montréal et une maîtrise à l'Université d'Otago à Dunedin, en Nouvelle-Zélande. Elle a enseigné et s'est impliquée au Centre de recherche et d'enseignement sur les femmes de McGill (anciennement MCRTW). Elle a ensuite rejoint le département d'études sur les femmes et le genre de l'université de Winnipeg. Dans les années 1980, elle a participé au développement et à la promotion des petites publications féminines canadiennes. Elle est cofondatrice et éditrice de "The Radical Reviewer". Elle a été membre du collectif éditorial "Kinesis".
