The file contains several articles co-authored by Ann Denis and Michèle Ollivier in the early 2000s on the sociological trends in the adoption of new technology. The papers are entitled as follows: “How wired are Canadian women? The intesection of gender, class and language with the use of new information technologies,” “L’utilisation des technologies d’information et de communication chez les femmes francophones en situation minoritaire au Canada,” “Les femmes francophones en situation minoritaire au Canada et les technologies d’information et communication” and “Uses of new information and communication technologies and cultural repertoires of young francophone Ontarians.” There is also a paper by Ann Denis entitled “An Instrument for Reinforcing Hegemony? A Tool for Facilitating Diversity?” that was presented to the “International Seminar on Equidad igualdad y diversidad en sociades globalizadas” [Equity, equality and diversity in globalized societies] in Mexico City on 8-10 April 2003.
