Cette série consiste en des documents reliés à l’implication de Monique Frize dans l’organisation INWES dont elle est l’une des membres fondatrices. INWES est un réseau mondial d'organisations de femmes en sciences, technologie, ingénierie et mathématiques (STEM). L'INWES est une société sans but lucratif régie par un conseil d'administration composé d'administrateurs représentant l'organisation, l'entreprise, l'université ou l'institut et des membres individuels. En juillet 2002, les déléguées à la Conférence internationale des femmes ingénieures et scientifiques (ICWES 12) ont appuyé la création de l'INWES. En avril 2003, INWES a été constituée en société sans but lucratif en vertu des lois du Canada. Monique Frize a été présidente d’INWES de 2002 à 2008. En 2008, l'INWES est devenu une ONG partenaire officielle de type opérationnel de l'UNESCO. Ce partenariat implique une coopération pour aider les femmes et les filles du monde entier à avoir accès à l'éducation, en particulier en sciences et en ingénierie.
En novembre 2007, l'Institut d'éducation et de recherche de l'INWES (ERI) a été créé pour faire progresser l'éducation dans les domaines des STIM et pour élargir la portée de l'INWES par le financement de projets spéciaux. L'ERI est un organisme de bienfaisance régi par un conseil d'administration composé d'administrateurs représentant des organismes, des entreprises, des instituts ou des universités et/ou des membres individuels de l'INWES. INWES is a global network of organizations of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). INWES is a not-for-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Directors representing organization, corporate, University/Institute, and individual membership. In July 2002, the International Conference of Women Engineers and Scientists (ICWES 12) delegates supported the creation of the INWES. In April 2003, INWES was incorporated as non-profit corporation under the laws of Canada. Monique Frize was president of the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES) from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, INWES became an official NGO partner of the operational type with UNESCO. This partnership involves a cooperation to help women and girls worldwide to have access to education, especially in Science and Engineering.
In November 2007, the INWES Educational and Research Institute (ERI) was formed to advance education in the fields of STEM and to expand the reach of INWES through funding of special projects. ERI is a charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Directors representing organization, corporate, institute/university, and/or individual memberships in INWES. Monique Frize was president of ERI since 2007.
