Micheline Dumont parle du féminisme au Québec, du traitement du mouvement féministe canadien-français par le reste du pays et de sa place dans les autres mouvements sociaux et politiques de la province et du Canada, ainsi que des commentaires sur le mouvement des femmes et la littérature aux États-Unis et en France. Recording of Patrice Leclerc's late 1980s interview with Micheline Dumont (née Verdun, 1935), a Quebec historian, lecturer and professor emeritus. Micheline Dumont talks about feminism in Quebec, the treatment of the French-Canadian feminist movement by the rest of the country, and its place in other social and political movements in the province and Canada. Dumont further discusses the movement in France, intergenerational feminism, what it means to be a feminist, the institutionalization of feminism, feminism and lesbianism, as well as the situation in Quebec after the Lake Meech accord.
