Anderson headed the National Action Committee (NAC) on the Status of Women 1982–84, was Chatelaine’s editor between 1957 and 1977, and was an influential figure in advocacy for women from the 1960s and in particular, during the 1980s Canadian constitutional debates. In this interview, Anderson discusses her experiences heading the National Action Committee (NAC), which was founded in 1971 to pressure the Canadian government to implement the recommendations of the Report of the Royal Commission on the Status of Women in Canada.
