Pièce I342 - International Women’s Day Celebration: Toward the year 2000 without Nuclear Weapons

The poster advertises activities organized for International Women's Day in Toronto. Image depicts three women holding up a globe containing an image of a dove, basketball, and a female gender symbol, in green, yellow and grey with black text. Poster reads "Guest speakers from the USSR and the USA and prominent Canadian woman. Sponsored by Committee for March 8th." The poster was originally in the Women's Information Center collection in Toronto. This collection comes from several donations made in the second half of the 1980s, by women involved in several Canadian organizations surrounding the feminist movement since the early 1970s.
