The poster advertises activities in Toronto for International Women's Day organized by March 8th Coalition. A signature is visible in the central drawing "Kujundzic." Designed by Claire Kujundzic. Printed by Union Labor at Muskox Press. The activities were organized around the following questions: access to childcare services, economic independence (right of access to non-traditional jobs, pay equity), violence against women, and rise of the right wing. This poster was originally from the Women's Information Center collection in Toronto where it was classified among the files relating to the March 8th Coalition committee (Identifier: 10-001-S1-F1630 to F1668). This collection comes from several donations made in the second half of the 1980s by women involved in several Canadian organizations surrounding the feminist movement since the early 1970s.
