The Toronto Wages For Housework Committee (WFH) fonds contains mostly textual documents, two posters and one group of photograph negatives. It contains WFH administrative documents as well as flyers, speeches, pamphlets, and correspondence with related organizations such as Wages Due Lesbians, Women Against Rape, Family Benefits Working Group, and Wages For Housework groups in Canada and internationally. Also included are newspaper clippings which illustrate the Wages for Housework campaign during the 1970s.

The fonds consists of records collected by Lisa Bengtsson during her career as a social development officer with the Thunder Bay branch of The Secretary of State, Women's Programme, and with the Northwestern Ontario Decade Council.

The records document the evolution of women's groups within Northwestern Ontario, from funding applications to articles of incorporation and brochures and pamphlets on annual programming.

The fonds contains an extensive amount of administrative records demonstrating the everyday operations of committees, subcommittees, and women's organizations, including the Northwestern Ontario Regional Day Care committee.

The fonds also reflects on Judith Erola’s campaign to win the Nickel Belt riding in 1979 and contains photographs that reflect on Judith Erola’s overseas tours, professional duties, and visits with various officials.

This fonds contains records resulting from Shirley E. Greenberg’s involvement in women’s liberation and research into women’s legal equality. The fonds contains significant administrative records from groups such as the University of Ottawa Chapter of the National Association of Women and the Law, the Ottawa Women’s Resource Group and the Ottawa Women’s Centre Association. The fonds includes pamphlets, advertisement and notices promoting these groups.

The fonds contains records resulting from Shirley E. Greenberg’s research into women’s legal equality, such as briefs submitted to government as well as news clippings and publications on family law, divorce and child custody. The fonds includes publications from women’s feminist collectives and publications devoted to radical feminism and socialist feminism, such as Hogtown Press. The bulk of the records date from 1972-1977.
