The fonds contains material collected primarly by Stefan Janiček detailing the Brooke-Alverston, Ontario (Canada) Slovak community spanning a twenty-year period (1935-1955). The material was part of a genealogical project sponsored by the Canadian Slovak League Branch 20 Oil Spring. Peter Molčan joined the project at a later date. Included are photocopied press clippings and a Canadian Citizenship Certificate. The press clippings pertain to various members of the Slovak community from Brooke-Alverston region and gives an overview of the Slovak emigration experience from mid 1930s to 1950s.
The fonds also contains material from the Canadian Slovak League Branch 17 (Sarnia, Ontario). Peter Molčan was the President. Included is the Contributions Book for the Canadian Slovak League Branch 17, a Slovak flag signed by various delegates to a Slovak League Convention in 2016 and records related to membership dues, contributions to the parishes of St. Anthony in Chatham, Ontario and Our Lady of Sorrows in Sarnia, Ontario.

The fonds consists of documents related to Maureen Jessop Orton's Ph.D thesis (1988-1991) and research projects she worked on, particularly a long-running project on adolescent pregnancy and sexual health in Ontario (1979-1994), as well as a smaller project for the Sexual Health Network of Ontario (SHNO) on the Ontario government's downloading of public health services to municipalities (1999-2001). The fonds includes correspondence, data sheets, newspaper clippings, many research documents and some sex education materials. The collection has a significant amount of material tangentially related to the adolescent pregnancy project, such as documents relating to Orton serving as an expert witness at the Morgentaler trial and the Planned Parenthood of Newfoundland and Labrador libel trial, Orton's conference presentations, and documents related to lobbying efforts by the project members regarding sexual health policy in Ontario.

This fonds consists of documents relating to Karol Murín's correspondence with various Slovak organizations and intellectuals in exile as well as documents on a variety of subjects, including charges of antisemitism , Karol (Charles) Murín's career and the Slovak Republic's economy. It contains letters, a list of participants, leaflets, notes, a speech, resolutions, articles, a comparative analysis of the Slovak Republic's economy, newspaper clippings, meetings' minutes, agendas, number 1, September 1952 issue of Bulletin, an album with 37 b&w and colour photographs of the Murín's wedding and wedding vow renewal.
