This fonds consists of the administrative records of the design of the Service Office Retail Workers Union of Canada (SORWUC) Local 7 in Ottawa, from its inception in 1982. The union's goal was to address the inequality faced by women in the workplace. The fonds contains correspondence, union membership announcements, bargaining exhibits and member contact information. It also contains resources such as newspaper clippings, pamphlets, booklets, buttons, and articles on various topics used and promoted by SORWUC members.
