Serie S1 - Records of the Association of Women and the Law

This series contains the administrative records of the University of Ottawa, Women and the Law Association—a university chapter of the National Association of Women and the Law.

The series relates mainly to the organization’s 1975 summer program. The series includes project proposals, reports, questionnaires, correspondence and grant applications.

The series also contains posters and notices advertising the 1975 summer program’s workshops, talks and lectures on women’s rights and legal equality. The series includes briefs sent to the Ontario Legislature Committee on the Administration of Justice with legal recommendations for furthering women’s equality.
