The Pat Petrala fonds contain records related to her involvement with numerous local and national women's groups. In addition to co-founding the Ottawa Women's Network, Petrala served on the board or otherwise collaborated with Ottawa Women's Place, the Ottawa Women's Credit Union, the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies, the Women's Network for Health and the Environment, and many other organizations and groups which are represented in the fonds. Patrala also helped to design and coordinate construction of the Women's Monument in Minto Park, and helped feminists in Vancouver to organize support for a monument commemorating victims of the 1989 Ecole Polytechnique Massacre. The fonds also contain records related to women's labour, addiction, women's shelters, women's health, domestic violence, immigrant and visible minority women, Indigenous women's activism, and more. -- Le fonds Pat Petrala contient des documents relatifs à son implication dans de nombreux groupes de femmes locaux et nationaux.
