The bulk of the collection is comprised of sheet music for mostly piano or orchestra, published between 1883 and 1946 (approximately a third of which was published in the 1920s) for the purposes of performance during the screening of silent films. Handwritten notes and cues, as well as stamps are found on many sheets, which have been identified. Some of the items are of collections of music specifically written and published for the purpose of motion pictures. Also included are cue sheets and instruction manuals, folders with advertisements, letters from editors, as well as a program for the 2014 screening of “The Cat and the Canary” with small orchestra at the University of Ottawa School of Music, sums up the Silent Film Music collection.
It contains documents collected primarly by Stefan Janiček detailing the Brooke-Alverston, Ontario (Canada) Slovak community spanning a twenty-year period (1935-1955). The material was part of a genealogical project sponsored by the Canadian Slovak League Branch 20 Oil Spring. Peter Molčan joined the project at a later date. This fonds consists of photocopied press clippings and a Canadian Citizenship Certificate. The press clippings pertain to various members of the Slovak community from Brooke-Alverston region and gives an overview of the Slovak emigration experience from mid 1930s to 1950s.
The fonds also contains the Contributions Book for the Canadian Slovak League Branch 17 (Sarnia) as well as a Slovak flag signed by various delegates to a Slovak League Convention in 2016.

This fonds consists of documents related to the Turchan family and various members of the Port Colborne, Ontario (Canada)'s Slovak community, their traditions, immigration experience, life in Slovakia, the National Slovak Benefit Society's Timmins chapter's administration and ""K-Cousins"", descendants from Podkonice village from Banská Býstricka (Slovakia).
The fonds consists of correspondence sent to Ján (John) Ridzon from various Slovak organizations including the Slovak World Congress, Kanadsky Slovak, Slovak Club of South Australia and from individuals including Emanual Böhm. Also includes various newspaper clippings from Kanadska Prioloha and Slovenska Jednota and some monographs including Stefana Furdeka and a biography of Anton Štefánek. There is also a 1940 l'udový Kalendár.
This fonds consists of records related to the family of Slovak poet Ján L. (Ján Luďo) Doranský. It consists of material related to his childhood, youth, married life, family, emigration to Canada and literary works. Many family photographs are included in this fonds. Also included is a copy of Ján Doránsky's published book of poetry: od splnu po zatmenie. Also includes a statue of the Virgin Mary and a small bottle with a cross.

It contains correspondence books, account ledgers, membership lists, letters, notes, resolutions, statements, photocopied newspaper clippings and Grand Bazaar of the CSL's admission ticket, collection sheets for funds, meetings' minutes, presidents' messages, telegrams, lists, census documents, certificates, tables of content, a keynote address, announcements, budgets, Slovak League of America Congress' rights, the poem Rola ma vola, a plea on behalf of Slovak refugees or displaced persons, reports, receipts, a certification, posters of Slovak personalities Martin Rázus, Milan Rastislav Štefánik, Andrej Hlinka and Jozef Tiso and flags.
