Mothers of Confederation

This item consists of an extra-large off-white t-shirt with purple design of a two women and girl in nineteenth-century clothing and text "Mothers of Confederation / Mères de la Confédération / May 1989 Charlottetown Conference Mai 1989" in purple letters. The t-shirts were given to ministers and senior officials at a meeting of Ministers Responsible for Status of Women Charlottetown. Fifty t-shirts were made.
