Susan Schellenberg and Rosemary Barnes first met in 1990, when they were both active in the struggle of Women's College Hospital against merger with Toronto General Hospital. They co-authored the book "Committed to the Sane Asylum: Narratives on Mental Wellness and Healing". The fonds documents the various reflections, presentations and articles that emerged from this collaboration. The fonds also documents Susan Schellenberg's artistic work through several documents related to the exhibition Entertaining the Cauldron of Snakes: Shedding Skins.
