This series contains documents relating to women who sent their documents to the Canadian Women's Movement Archives. The documents include newsletters, personal and professional correspondence, pamphlets, papers, reports, meeting notes among many others. This series represents a cross-section of the women who were active in the feminist movement, to varying degrees, in Canada between the late 1960s and late 1990s.
This series consists of photographs taken or donated by women to the Canadian Women's Movement Archives (CWMA) between 1972 and 1992. The photographs cover a wide range of events relating to the Canadian women's movement such as protests, marches, conferences, gatherings at local business or homes, workshops, and daily life. Some photographs were published in periodicals such as Fireweed and The Other Woman.
The series consists of sound recordings of meetings, conferences, lecture series, and oral history interviews acquired by the CWMA. Meeting recordings are from organizations such as LOOT, March 8th Coalition, CWMA, WAVAW, IWDC, and the Other Woman.
This series consists of ephemera documents such as magnets, bookmarks, plaques, pins and other material acquired by the Canadian Women's Movement Archives (CWMA) between 1972 and 1992 (some of the documents were acquired after 1992). The ephemera documents served mostly as promotional material for various feminist organizations, places and events pertaining to the Canadian Women's movement from 1972 to 1992.
This series consists of documents relating to the editorial development at Healthsharing. It includes Editorial Committee Minutes, procedures and planning documents. Also, it contains Design Committee Minutes, correspondence and writing guidelines.
This series contains administrative documents, pamphlets for events relating to different Midwifery Task Force chapters, mostly the Ottawa Chapter but also Western Canada and the US. It also contains information about particular midwives.
