This series consists of documents relating to the Canadian Women's Studies Association (CWSA)'s organizational structure, reorganization project, objectives, staffing, standards, and its attempt in obtaining a charitable organization status. It contains various versions of its constitution, a report, and an organizational handbook.

This series consists of documents relating to various statutory meetings, such as annual general, board of directors and executive meetings. It contains meetings' minutes, notes, agendas, a speech, proposals, an administrative history, short biographies, correspondence, financial statements, reports, lists, announcements, a CWSA constitution, guides, and handbooks.

Committees

This series consists of documents relating to the activities and daily dealings of the Canadian Women's Studies Association (CWSA)'s various committees. It also contains records related to the annual conferences held by CWSA as part of the Conference Committee sub-series. Records include agendas, meetings' minutes, correspondence, programs, financial statements, invoices and receipts, notes, lists, pamphlets, flyers, emails, reports, articles, newspaper clippings, emails, announcements, travel policies, guidelines, the CWSA's constitution, a business card, a bookmark, a plane ticket and a Worldwide Organization of Women's Studies (WOWS)'s constitution.

CWSA publications

This series consists of documents relating to the planning, publication and distribution of the Canadian Women's Studies Association (CWSA)'s four publications "Atlantis," "Newsletter," "Weaving Alliances = Tisser les liens," and "Women Changing Academia = Les femmes changent l'académie." It contains budgets, lists, student worksheets, invoices, receipts, correspondence, emails, memorandums, titles pages, notes, Carleton University Program's policies, reports, photocopy of an article on women's suffrage published on November 16th, 1911, a business card, pamphlets, a column, draft of an article "Women's March for Bread and Roses, Jobs and Justice," meetings' minutes, booklets, an advertisement, a call for paper, draft and an original copies of Newsletter, papers, and a proposal.

Correspondence

This file consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence and accompanying material relating to the Canadian Women's Studies Association (CWSA)'s begginings, search for a French coordinator, its annual conferences, participation in the Learned Societies Congresses, membership, finances, grants, staffing and the 1992 International Summer Institute in Canada pilot project. It contains letters, memorandums, resumes, articles, newsletters, lists, pamphlets, a questionnaire, photocopied cheques and receipts, invoices, blank forms, reports, job descriptions, business cards, photocopy of travel policy and a plane ticket, a motion, the CWSA logo, an announcement, emails, bank statements, the Body Shop's funding guidelines, eligibility criteria for the Programme of Aid to Joint Sessions and the booklet "Aid to Scholarly Publication Programme = Programme d'aide à l'édition savante."

Finances

This series consists of documents relating to the Canadian Women's Studies Associations' financial activities, funding and grant applications. It contains financial statements, budgets, receipt books, grant application forms, booklets, correspondence, reports, budgets and notes.

Membership

This series consists of documents relating to the Canadian Women's Studies Association (CWSA)'s membership between 1982 and 2006 and its membership drives. It contains blank and complete membership application forms, mailing lists and correspondence.

This file consists of documents from the Action Éducation Femmes (AEF), the Canadian Abortion Rights Rights Action League (CARAL) and Women Plan Toronto collected by Canadian Women's Studies Association (CWSA)'s, CARAL and Women Plan Toronto's member, Barbara Crow.
