This series contains miscellaneous records that are not directly related to violence against women, but which are relevant to other local women's organizations and more generally to the struggle for women's liberation from the late twentieth century to the present.
This series contains records related to the Round Table Against Violence Against Women. The Round Table brought advocates, caseworkers, law enforcement, and members of the judicial system together to discuss how to better deal with and respond to the problem of domestic abuse and violence against women in Ottawa-Carleton.
This fonds contains records for the Regional Coordinating Committee to End Violence Against Women (RCCEVAW) from 1984 until 2006, when they changed their name to the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women (OCTEVAW). The fonds includes administrative records and correspondence related to the RCCEVAW steering committee, their numerous subcommittees and task forces, and the organizations that grew out of their work. The RCCEVAW also collected records related to violence against women, including research material, newspaper clippings, policy documents, police protocol, and more. ... Ce fonds contient les dossiers du Comité régional de coordination pour contrer la violence faite aux femmes (CRCVFF) de 1984 à 2006, année où il a changé de nom pour devenir la Coalition d'Ottawa pour contrer la violence faite aux femmes (COCVFF).
