Women Against Rape

Women Against Rape (WAR) is a member group of the British Columbia Federation of Women. BCFW has endorsed the action of WAR and has joined with them in declaring November 5th as a provincial day of protest against the crime of rape.

Stop Red Hot Video Action Committee

This file consist of records related to the action against the Red Hot Video industry. A motion was passed at the 1982 Annual Convention to close down Red Hot Video (porn video chain) in one year. A committee was created at this time. The committee consisted of representatives from several women's groups. The file contains correspondence, notes, drafts and a press release.
