The collection includes material collected from various events hosted and/or held by Archives and Special Collections related to the Women's Archives. Includes events co-sponsored by feminist community and campus groups. Some material was commissioned by ARCS to celebrate International Women's Day or from class visits where students were asked permission for ARCS to save their work for the collection.

Series contains photographs on an event held at the University of Ottawa Library upon the transfer of the Canadian Women's Movement Archives. The images show items from the collection spread out on a large table with individuals chatting and looking at the material on display. Monique Bégin appears in one of the photographs.

L'évènement Journée Internationale des femmes s'est tenu le jeudi 6 mars 2025 dans la salle Lounge de la bibliothèque Morisset de l'Université d'Ottawa. Le comité organisateur était composé d'étudiantes du Centre de ressources féministes, de l'équipe des Archives et collections spéciales, et de l'équipe de Design and Outreach team de la Bibliothèque. L'évènement a accueilli une quarantaine de personnes qui ont participé à des ateliers sur place: fabrication de macarrons, création d'affiches, entretiens avec des archivistes sur place. Le dossier contient des photographies, des affiches et des enregistrements audio produits lors de l'évènement.

The International Women's Day event was celebrated on Thursday, March 6, 2025, in the Lounge of the Morisset Library at the University of Ottawa. The organizing committee was composed of students from the Feminist Resource Centre, the Archives and Special Collections team, and the Library's Design and Outreach team. The event welcomed approximately 40 people who participated in on-site workshops: button making, poster creation, and interviews with archivists on site about "feminism today". The file contains photographs, posters, and audio recordings produced during the event.
