This file consists of documents relating to various conferences and congresses organized by various women's organization, among others, the Canadian Gay Archives, the National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC) and the National Council of Women of Canada. It contains programs, news releases, a memorandum, registration forms, a letter, a photocopied newspaper clipping and a call for abstract for the Second International Congress on Women's Health Issues.
This file contains a booklet "Diverse Perspectives", related to the selection of work by 37 members of the slide registry of Nova Scotia Women Artists in Celebration of its tenth anniversary and the United Nations Decade for Women. The exhibition was prepared by Mern O'Brien, guest curator at the Mount Saint Vincent University Art Gallery from 19 September to the 13 October 1985.
