This series consists of records relating to work at Sir George Williams University, after 1974: Concordia University, and the Simone de Beauvoir, established 1978. Greta Hofmann Nemiroff and Dr. Christine Garside Allen taught the first women’s studies course at a Canadian university between 1970-1979; Nemiroff was involved in the establishment of the Institute and edited the first publication of the Simone de Beauvoir Institute Bulletin in 1979.
