This series consists of correspondence and accompanying material relating the Slovak Studies Association (SSA)’s beginning and activities and adressing various issues such as membership renewals, new members, publications such as Newsletter and Slovakia, panels for the AAASS‘ conferences and personal matters. It contains correspondence, clippings from journals and publications such as Jednota, Naše Snahý and Hungarian History Review, book reviews, programs of activities sponsored by, among others, the University of Minnesota's Center for Austrian Studies, membership lists, thirteen photographs, two drawings, notes, proposals, business cards, lists, comments on a manuscript, articles, by-laws, pamphlets, flyers, leaflets, a progress report, abstracts, the Slavik Arts and Books catalogue, a foreword of Martin Kubučin's position in Slovak literature, invoices, receipts, the booklet Slovak Heritage Festival: centennial dedicated to General Milan R. Štefaník, book order forms, obituaries, a certificate of appreciation, resumes and guidelines.
