Series S1 - Administration

This series consists of documents, some collected by Andrej Potocký, relating to the Canadian Slovak League (CSL)'s daily activities, administration, financial situation and reorganization between 1926 and 2000. It contains books of correspondence, account ledgers with lists of disbursements, expenses and earnings for the CSL and its branches such as Port Colborne (Ontario) and Dugald (Manitoba) and the publication of the newspaper Kanadský Slovak, letters, resolutions, quarterly financial reports, a project proposal regarding a memorial dedicated to political prisoners of the Communist regime, meetings' minutes, presidents' messages, telegrams, lists, census documents, certificates, tables of content, a keynote address, announcements, budgets, photocopied Grand Bazaar of the CSL's admission ticket, newspaper clippings, reports, Slovak League of America Congress' rights, the poem Rola ma vola, financial statements, a plea on behalf of Slovak refugees or displaced persons, management lists of declining membership, mortuary funds, notes, lists of expenses and earnings, receipts and a certification.
